Signature Health Welcomes Christine Boulden as Chief Nursing Officer

(Mentor, OH): Signature Health is excited to announce the addition of Christine Boulden as Chief Nursing Officer. In her role, Christine will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and administration of all nursing care activities, nursing practice, nursing education, and clinical lab services across the organization. As a member of the senior leadership team, she will contribute to the strategic initiatives of the organization, including growing and developing existing service lines and identifying new service line and program opportunities.
Christine joins the organization with more than 20 years of experience in hospital settings, leading teams in the areas of quality and performance improvement, risk management, patient safety, financial administration, and regulatory compliance.
Most recently, she served as Summa Rehab Hospital’s Director of Quality and Risk Management/Safety Officer, preceded by nursing and patient services leadership roles at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Summa Health System. Prior to those positions, she worked as a hospital-based Registered Nurse for eight years, including some experience as a psychiatric nurse early in her career. Christine holds an M.S. in Nursing Leadership and Management from Walden University, a B.S. in Nursing from Kent State University, Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC), Certification as a Healthcare Accreditation Professional (HACP), and Certification as a Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM).
