C.H. Everett Clinic

A mental health residential treatment facility for adults, located in Mentor, Ohio.

C.H. Everett Clinic offers intensive mental health treatment to assist in residents’ transition back into the community. The goal is to provide a positive, structured, caring, home-like environment that is conducive to the stabilization of symptoms and individual growth and development.

Services include:

  • Behavioral health assessments
  • Counseling with an emphasis on Mental Health Day Treatment groups
  • Case management
  • Peer support
  • Psychiatry
  • Skill-building activities

The 16-bed facility provides three daily meals and has staff members present 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nurses are available to help with medication-related issues. A primary care provider assesses patients upon admission. Follow-up primary care and infectious disease care also is available. 

Step-Down or Step-Up Care

This Type 1 residential facility and Adam & Amanda Center serves adults (ages 18+) who would benefit from a higher level of step-down care following discharge from a crisis stabilization or psychiatric inpatient unit, or who are referred for a higher level of monitored residential treatment.

The typical length of stay is 30-90 days.
